Austrian telematics provider Dolphin Technologies is now working with Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) to support the international rollout of its telematics strategy. As a first step, the largest insurer in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) market is offering a user-friendly telematics app in the Czech Republic that promotes safer driving and offers a premium reduction in return. “By offering a group-wide telematics solution, we are following our strategy of offering our customers added value through digital services that go far beyond the traditional insurance contract,” says Elisabeth Stadler, CEO of Vienna Insurance Group.
Under the name “Koopilot”, the Czech VIG subsidiary Kooperativa is the first company in the Group to offer this telematics solution. Based on their driving behavior, Kooperativa customers receive a cashback of up to 40% of their insurance premium. In addition, the app features a life-saving SOS emergency call button, an automatic logbook, and personalized coaching to improve driving. After the Czech Republic, other VIG Group companies will follow shortly.
This cooperation underlines Dolphin Technologies’ commitment to making roads safer, reducing accidents, and promoting environmentally friendly driving with telematics solutions. The partnership with VIG is an important milestone on the way to becoming the leading telematics provider in the region.
